Panel Fabrication Technician

General Description

Our panel fabrication technicians work in our Charlotte NC facility assembling / fabricating control system panels.  

Specific Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpretation of prints, wiring diagrams and layout drawings that define panel assembly requirements
  • Layout of subpanels for DIN rail, Panduit and component mounting
  • Mounting of control system components
  • Internal panel electrical wiring

Required Competencies

  • Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, electrical symbols and layout drawings that define panel assembly requirements
  • Layout of subpanels for DIN rail, Panduit and component mounting
  • Mounting of control system components
  • Internal panel electrical wiring
  • Compilation of individual components to make complete assemblies

Required Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma;  Associate's degree in electronics technology or a similar field preferred
  • Professional experience required
  • US Citizenship required

Preferred Experience/Competencies

  • Experience with AC/DC circuits
  • Electrical wiring aptitude
  • On-the-job training provided with employment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team work
  • Self-Motivated, organized, detail oriented, reliable and professional
