Sales Coordinator - Systems & Reliability

General Description

The Sales Coordinator role is an integral part of the application engineering, inside sales, customer service team. The position entails communicating with multiple entities; customers, principals and coworkers to deliver a superior level of customer service. The Sales Coordinator must be able to respond to customer inquiries, some technical, but mostly non-technical questions. Sales Coordinators will serve as a liaison for our customers and the various manufacturers we represent. This will often involve tracking down information from our vendors based on the nature of the customer request. The primary interface is telephone calls and email.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries from customers
  • Parts and service quotations
  • Reconcile purchase orders against quotations
  • Price and delivery verification
  • Purchase order acknowledgement and preparation for order entry
  • Purchase order tracking and expediting
  • Assist with service related work
  • Track customer credit history, etc
  • Assist with order and project documentation

Required Competencies

  • US Citizen
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
  • Ability to work in team environment; a team player
  • Self-directed, self-motivated, and detail oriented

  • Organized and reliable
  • Demonstrates integrity
  • Ability to manage time well and handle multiple priorities maintaining a positive attitude and composure

Required Education & Experience

  • 4 Yr. College Degree or equivalent work experience required

Preferred Experience/Competencies

  • Previous service order management experience
