Matt Kuntz has over 20 years of experience working in pharmaceuticals, medical devices and contract research, having led a variety of world class programs across the spectrum of EHS and utility systems. Whether the programs are mature or there’s a need to develop them from scratch at a greenfield site, Matt has successfully led programs through stakeholder engagement, collaboration and teamwork. Career highlights include EHS\Sustainability oversight of the FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies $2 Billion USD greenfield biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in Holly Springs, NC; the Novo Nordisk $2 Billion USD greenfield biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Clayton, NC; oversight of a $40 MM Wastewater Pretreatment facility which was donated to the Town of Clayton; and served as project team member responsible for development of a 105 MW solar facility that offset all electrical carbon emissions for Novo Nordisk facilities across the US.
Matt enjoys partnering with operations to identify EHS risks, collaborate on resolution and eliminate hazards. He also enjoys integrating Sustainability and EHS best in class solutions into new and existing facilities. Matt holds a BS in Earth and Environmental Science from Wilkes University.
