Territory Account Manager | Food & Beverage, Life Sciences | Raleigh, NC, preferred
LOCATION: Raleigh, NC preferred or other central NC location

DESCRIPTION

The Territory Account Manager (“TAM”) shall develop and maintain business relationships with decision makers and purchase influencers in the assigned territory.

The TAM will focus on customers in the life sciences industries; including Food & Beverage, Biotech, Pharmaceuticals, Personal Care and other related industries.

The TAM must understand the customers’ business, identify customer needs and business drivers, be aware of the customers’ organizational dynamics, develop account strategy, in order to profitably grow a portfolio of products & services. The TAM must be technically sound and able to explain to customers our product and solution capabilities and what differentiates our solutions from our competitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the overall sales effort, coordinating principal and internal resources as necessary to meet the customer’s requirements and objectives.
  • Develop sales plans, account strategies and forecasts to meet company, team and individual targets and goals.
  • Travel to meet customers, present deliverables and benefits, close business.
  • Utilizing a good understanding of the customers’ needs and of the growth potential, he/she will plan, organize, coordinate and execute market development strategies.

  • Maintain Account Plans of the customers’ organization, the politics that influence decision making, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular status reports to Sales Management of the progress on account objectives and other metrics established for the territory.

Valve Services Technician/Specialist | Richmond, VA
LOCATION: Richmond, VA

DESCRIPTION

The Valve Services Technician/Specialist position is responsible for the repair, assembly, calibration, and diagnostics of all types of valves and related instruments.

Responsibilities include working with digital instrumentation, valve diagnostics, and associated Asset Monitoring System software platforms such as AMS Device Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Repair relief valves, control valves, on/off valves, pneumatic and electric actuators in REM Shop or customer plant locations – includes performing pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, in-process inspection, machining, lapping, surface preparation, painting, assembly, testing, and final inspection on various types of valves and actuation
  • Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot, inspect, and test valves at specified job worksites – primary worksites include REM valve repair center and customer in-field work sites
  • Calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of valves, valve related instruments and process instrumentation
  • Assembly of new and repaired equipment
  • Document repair/testing/assembly activities – cause of failure, actions taken, parts used, etc.
  • Customer communication – technical assistance, troubleshooting, quoting/determining disposition of repairs
  • Adherence to all safety, quality and company rules/regulations
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
  • Participation and involvement in Safety, Quality, and Activities Committees.
  • Perform testing using certified test equipment, and complete documentation by working under a QA / QC / National Board VR program
  • Reference appropriate valve manuals for repair requirements

DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be a significant contributor on our Project Execution Team. The System Engineer will work in the development, delivery, and commissioning of state-of-the-art process control systems and solutions for R.E. Mason’s industrial customers. R.E. Mason uses the technologies provided by Emerson – DeltaV Distributed Control System (“DeltaV”), Asset Management System (AMS) and other Emerson solutions.

The Systems Engineer will have close interaction with the Project Technical Lead Engineer (“Tech Lead”) who will be managing the configuration development. The Tech Lead will provide coaching to the System Engineer to ensure the work adheres to technical standards and guidelines, and is completed with the high level of quality expected by our customers.

The Systems Engineer will also provide aftermarket (“Lifecycle”) and staff augmentation support to customers. Typically, this includes modifying existing control strategies, implementing small scale expansion projects and assisting with process optimization projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement control strategies within the DeltaV DCS that are used to interface with and control physical devices such as valves and pumps within the plant environment. This will include:
    • Configuring and testing control and equipment modules classes and instances

DESCRIPTION

We are currently offering an opportunity for a Lifecycle Engineer in our fast paced, customer orientated Lifecycle Services team. The successful candidate would assist our Control System engineering customers and project teams in the development, delivery, on‐going maintenance and optimization of state-of-the-art process control solutions for REM’s industrial customers.

This is a customer-facing position requiring travel to our customers’ manufacturing sites to help commission and maintain their control systems. Candidates must be able to work with customers in a professional manner while working under pressure during process startups and while troubleshooting issues.

Typically, scopes of work include control panel grounding verification and commissioning, software installation and staging of server and network equipment, performance audits, performing cybersecurity assessments and system patching, designing virtual computer infrastructure, and troubleshooting electrical and equipment issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 80-90% Regional travel to customer sites (25-50% overnight) within North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia
