Application Engineer I

DESCRIPTION

The Application Engineer (AE) role is an integral part of the application engineering, inside sales, and customer service team.

The position entails communicating with multiple entities; customers, vendors and coworkers to deliver a superior level of customer service and technical support. DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, completion, and profitability of process valves, instrumentation, control and automation projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

The Shop Repair Coordinator role is an integral part of the valve business and services team. The position entails communicating with multiple entities; customers, principals and coworkers to deliver a superior level of customer service.

Human Resource (“HR”) Recruiter / Generalist

The HR Recruiter / Generalist will act as a strategic partner, consulting with hiring managers, to identify current and future talent needs and hiring initiatives as well as determine qualification criteria. RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Shipping/Facilities Clerk

DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse/Facilities Clerk (“Clerk”) will receive, ship, stage and distribute materials, equipment and products within the warehouse. The Clerk must ensure accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Lifecycle Services Engineer

LOCATION: Richmond, VA / Raleigh, NC / Charlotte, NC

DESCRIPTION

We are currently offering an opportunity for a Lifecycle Engineer in our fast paced, customer orientated Lifecycle Services team. The successful candidate would assist our Control System engineering customers and project teams in the development, delivery, on‐going maintenance and optimization of state-of-the-art process control solutions for REM’s industrial customers.

This is a customer-facing position requiring travel to our customers’ manufacturing sites to help commission and maintain their control systems. Candidates must be able to work with customers in a professional manner while working under pressure during process startups and while troubleshooting issues.

Typically, scopes of work include control panel grounding verification and commissioning, software installation and staging of server and network equipment, performance audits, performing cybersecurity assessments and system patching, designing virtual computer infrastructure, and troubleshooting electrical and equipment issues.

DESCRIPTION

The Valve Repair Technician position is responsible for repair, assembly, calibration, and diagnostics of all types of valves and related instruments. Responsibilities include working with PRV’s, automated and manual isolation valves along with associated instruments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Repair relief valves, on/off valves, pneumatic and electric actuators in the R.E. Mason Shop or customer plant locations – includes performing pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, in process inspection, machining, lapping, surface preparation, painting, assembly, testing, and final inspection on various types of valves and actuation.
  • Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot, inspect, and test valves at specified job worksites – primary worksites include REM valve repair center and customer sites in NC, SC, & VA.

DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be a significant contributor on our Project Execution Team. The System Engineer will work in the development, delivery, and commissioning of state-of-the-art process control systems and solutions for R.E. Mason’s industrial customers. R.E. Mason uses the technologies provided by Emerson Process Management – DeltaV Distributed Control System (“DeltaV”), Asset Management System (AMS) and other Emerson solutions.

The Systems Engineer will have close interaction with the Project Technical Lead Engineer (“Tech Lead”) who will be managing the configuration development. The Tech Lead will provide coaching to the System Engineer to ensure the work adheres to technical standards and guidelines, and is completed with the high level of quality expected by our customers.

The Systems Engineer will also provide aftermarket (“Lifecycle”) and staff augmentation support to customers. Typically, this includes modifying existing control strategies, implementing small scale expansion projects and assisting with process optimization projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement control strategies within the DeltaV DCS that are used to interface with and control physical devices such as valves and pumps within the plant environment. This will include:
    • Configuring and testing control and equipment modules classes and instances
    • Configuring and testing batch control strategies including phase classes and recipes

The MES and Data Management Services Business Development Manager is accountable for performing market and whitespace analysis and developing sales strategies for the Emerson’s Syncade, DeltaV Logbooks, Energy Management Information System, Machinery Health Manager, Executive Portal, and DeltaV Mobile platforms. This role will be responsible for tracking and driving company sales by developing and maintaining strategic/targeted accounts lists, providing input into sales and marketing collateral, and educating the sales force, and enhancing or developing customer demo systems as needed to demonstrate R.E. Mason’s capabilities regarding these products.

Additionally, this role will be expected to help develop training plans and design customer demo and internal training systems as necessary to develop services resources to meet our customer needs regarding these products and solutions.
