The Process Systems and Solutions Consultant (“Solutions Consultant”) shall develop and maintain business relationships with decision makers and purchasing influencers relative to the control system in specific assigned accounts. Valve Repair Technician

LOCATION: CHARLOTTE, NC

DESCRIPTION

The Valve Repair Technician position is responsible for repair, assembly, calibration, and diagnostics of all types of valves and related instruments. Responsibilities include working with PRV’s, automated and manual isolation valves along with associated instruments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Repair relief valves, on/off valves, pneumatic and electric actuators in REM Shop or customer plant locations – includes performing pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, in process inspection, machining, lapping, surface preparation, painting, assembly, testing, and final inspection on various types of valves and actuation.
  • Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot, inspect, and test valves at specified job worksites – primary worksites include REM valve repair center and customer sites in NC, SC, & VA.
  • Calibration, testing and trouble-shooting of valves, valve related instruments and process instrumentation.

The Mechanical Services Sales Leader is responsible for leading the overall sales strategy for valve services and works with account managers to develop and execute business plans for our customers. The Project Coordinator (“PC”) role is an integral part of the Project Management (“PM”) team and the project lifecycle. The primary job function for a PC is to provide general project support for multiple project managers. The successful candidate will be a significant contributor on our Project Execution Team. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform System Performance Audits on customer systems

  • Distributed Control System troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • On-site control system modifications and tuning

Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) & Data Management Services Business Development Manager

LOCATION: RTP, NC

DESCRIPTION

The MES and Data Management Services Business Development Manager is accountable for performing market and whitespace analysis and developing sales strategies for the Emerson’s Syncade, DeltaV Logbooks, Energy Management Information System, Machinery Health Manager, Executive Portal, and DeltaV Mobile platforms. Similar responsibilities will be expected around third party data integration products including OSISoft PI, Sytech XLReporter, Informetric Systems InfoBatch.

This role is expected to develop solutions with various combinations of these products to serve our customer’s needs regarding enterprise historian solutions, facilities energy monitoring/management, reporting (batch, shift, and environmental), and machinery/equipment reliability.

This role will be responsible for tracking and driving company sales by developing and maintaining strategic/targeted accounts lists, providing input into sales and marketing collateral, and educating the sales force, and enhancing or developing customer demo systems as needed to demonstrate REM’s capabilities regarding these products.

Additionally, this role will be expected to help develop training plans and design customer demo and internal training systems as necessary to develop services resources to meet our customer needs regarding these products and solutions.

The MES and Data Management Services Business Development Manager will also be expected to provide support to sales, generate estimates and proposals, and contribute to operations and project management functions

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development / Management

  • Engage in Sales calls independently and/or with PSS solutions consultants and account managers
  • Develop and maintain targeted and strategic account lists
  • Participate in Quarterly Sales Meetings, Strategic Account Planning Meetings, Monthly PSS Sales Meetings, and PSS Strategic
  • Planning Meetings
  • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing collateral
  • Develop Quotation tools and proposal templates
  • Develop sales force’s knowledge and understanding of products and customer needs/pains in the MES and data management space
  • Travel in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia – approximately 50%

Engineering Management

  • Contribute to the development of training plans for implementation resources
  • Work closely with Resource Coordinator to allocate technical resources to services opportunities
  • Participate in Monthly Project Engineering meetings and continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide input into the Project Management Office, execution methodologies, and engineering standards
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements within projects
  • Participate in project pursuit and proposal efforts representing the project execution and project management disciplines
